It is with great pride that I announce that the one and only Mizzou Swim Club got first place overall at the East Coast Championships this past weekend in Atlanta. Everyone swam awesome and it was a great meet overall. The ladies got third place, which is awesome especially since they only had eight girls. The guys blew all the teams out of the water and got first place. Everyone did their part in individuals, we had great swims by everyone, and the relays were amazing. Please congratulate everyone when you get the chance.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend regionals but it sounds like everyone swam extremely well and had a blast. I’m sure the president will send out a more formal email later but I’d like to say thanks to all the members who did give their time to represent the club and make a name for MUSC. Hopefully we can have even more people participate next year to help take 1st place. Perhaps we could volunteer to host the meet next year. Also, since Daniel has taken the time to compile a list of records up to the KU I have updated the records page to match.
Club Meeting Info and Stephens College Meet Results

We will be having a team meeting on next Tuesday, March 2 in the Aquatics classroom at 7.00pm. We will be discussing the issues of Nationals. Also, for those who swam in the Stephens College meet last weekend, here are the results.

As you probably know the pool is closed this week for the Missouri Grand Prix however here is a list of times which you are allowed to go swim:
Friday, February 12th: 5:45am – 6:45am OR 2:00pm – 3:00pm *
Saturday, February 13th: 2:00pm – 3:00pm *
Sunday, February 14th: 2:00pm – 3:00pm *
Monday, February 15th: 5:45am – 6:45am OR 5:30pm – 9:30pm *
Optional Meeting, Jan 28, 7:30pm for Those Interested in Illinois or Indiana

There will be an interest meeting for those interested in going to Illinois and Indiana on Thursday at 7:30 pm in the pool conference room (before practice).
