Although MUSC did not come out on top overall in this past swim meet at Indiana they did break two team records. Congratulations to Andrew Tamchyna who broke his previous record of 54.20 in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.05, and Chris Burford who swam the 50 fly in 23.62 and took down the mighty Max Jaben’s time of 24.12. To the rest of the participants, I thank all of you for competing at Indiana and continuing to devote your time to make this club so great.

Mizzou Swim Club Takes 1st Overall at the East Coast Championships

It is with great pride that I announce that the one and only Mizzou Swim Club got first place overall at the East Coast Championships this past weekend in Atlanta. Everyone swam awesome and it was a great meet overall. The ladies got third place, which is awesome especially since they only had eight girls. The guys blew all the teams out of the water and got first place. Everyone did their part in individuals, we had great swims by everyone, and the relays were amazing. Please congratulate everyone when you get the chance.
